Le Chien Gourmet is the brainchild of my wife, Rachel. Rachel and myself are professional chef with more than 20 years of experience. We were the creators of Grapevine Café Bar & Restaurant (Upper Serangoon), BlaBlack Sheep (Hsingchu Taiwan), Coocci Contemporary Japanese Cuisine (Commonwealth Crescent) and Easy Noodles Bar (Jalan Bersah). We are strong believers and practitioners in the use of natural ingredients without additives, artificial flavours or preservatives. We are dog lover too. We are the proud parents of two gals, one boy and one Frenchie.
We adopted Shaffer, the beautiful French bulldog, 7 years ago. Shaffer came with a long list of allergies and a basket load of medication. She can only eat a fish and grain less diet. After trying unsuccessfully for months with commercial dog food, We decided to cook for Shaffer human grade food. Shaffer’s condition improves tremendously. She had not eaten commercial dog food since and no longer requires medication.
We always believe in cooking not only delicious but safe and healthy food for our customers. Now we would like to use our expertise in cooking to produce classic dishes recreated for the consumption of your canine friends.
All our recipes are hand crafted in our home kitchen. We only use human grade ingredients from the same suppliers who supply to the restaurants in Singapore. They are freshly prepared with no preservatives, by-products, additives or fillers, and immediately deep freeze to ensure the nutritional value is retained. The food is then delivered to your doorstep.
